Making ATI Drivers Rotate the Screen 90 Degrees

Newer ATI Catalyst drivers seem to come with the "rotate" Feature disabled on some computers. There is, however, a simple fix to enable the feature:

Open regedit, Windows' registry editor, and browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ATI Technologies\Desktop. You will find that this folder has one or more subfolders named after a GUID "{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}". In this folder, find a key named "Rotation" and set its value to "hex:01,00,00,00", which will be displayed as REG_BINARY "01 00 00 00":

That's it. Your driver will now show a new tab in "Desktop Properties > Settings > Advanced" enabling you to turn the image of your display in 90 degree steps. However, keep in mind that although not recognizable, rotating your screen might lower your card's performance.
